No — you do not need a drone to get started. Many students complete the FAA certification portion before purchasing their first aircraft.

Most students finish within 5–6 weeks, depending on pace. Some move faster — some take longer. The content is designed so you can go as quickly or as casually as you need.

Yes — the curriculum is built directly around the FAA Remote Pilot test categories. Students who complete the course and quizzes consistently score high on the exam.

You’ll have lifetime access to course recordings and downloadable materials. Updates to future versions of the course may not be included unless specified.
