Refund Policy

All approved refunds are subject to a 5% transaction and processing fee.

1. Overview

CloudCity Academy provides digital education, including live cohort classes, on-demand lessons, downloadable resources, and optional coaching services designed to support FAA Part 107 preparation and real-world drone operations.

This policy applies to:

  • Digital courses and programs
  • Coaching or strategy sessions
  • Physical products (if offered in the future)

2. Digital Courses & Programs

Unless otherwise stated on the checkout page, the default refund terms are:

Refund Eligibility
A refund may be requested if both conditions are met:

  • The request is submitted within 14 days of purchase, and
  • You have not attended more than one live session (if applicable)

After this window or condition, all course fees are non-refundable.

Discounted, promotional, beta, or founding cohort pricing purchases are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Access and Delivery
Access to downloadable or immediately available content constitutes full product delivery. Once accessed, refunds are no longer eligible.

How to Request a Refund
Email hey@cloudcityacademy.us with:

  • Full name
  • Email used at checkout
  • Program purchased
  • Order number (if available)

Refund approval is discretionary and may be denied if abuse, misuse, or violation of policy is suspected.

Payment Plans
Payment plans are a commitment to the full purchase price and follow the same refund rules. Eligibility is not based on the number of installments billed.

Non-Refundable Digital Items
The following items are non-refundable:

  • Instant digital downloads
  • Courses past the refund eligibility window
  • Completed or substantially completed programs
  • No-show participation in live sessions
  • Gifted or transferred access

3. Coaching, Strategy Sessions & 1:1 Services

Coaching purchases are non-refundable once scheduled.

Rescheduling may be allowed with at least 24–48 hours notice depending on the service type. Missed or late-cancelled appointments are treated as completed and are not eligible for credit or refund.

If a separate coaching agreement exists, it supersedes this policy.

4. Physical Products

Physical products may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.

Items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In original packaging with tags
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Contact email approval is required prior to returning any item. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Personalized or custom items
  • Clearance items
  • Gift cards

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, email us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

5. Refund Processing & Access Removal

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Banks and processors may take up to 10 business days to finalize.

Once a refund is processed, all course access — including downloads, community features, live sessions, replays, future updates, and bonuses — will be permanently revoked. Re-enrollment requires purchasing at the current price.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with your purchase, please contact hey@cloudcityacademy.us before initiating a dispute or chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in revoked access to all Services.

We may update this policy periodically. The date above reflects the current version.
